Anyone can find exceptions or details to argue over with that statement, but I think we would all agree we are clearly in a real estate environment that is affected daily by what happens around the world.
One of the articles included today is a short whitepaper by Cassidy Turley about the impact of Japan’s earthquake on the U.S. economy and commercial real estate. My take away was that even though the catastrophic event was a half a world away, it likely will have long-term effects on a number of different economic factors that will filter into our commercial real estate world.
