U.S. MANUFACTURING: IS THIS RESURGENCE SUSTAINABLE? – JULY 2012

Since hitting a low point in January of 2011, the manufacturing sector has added 335,000 jobs ending in June of 2012. This is the strongest stretch of job creation in manufacturing since the mid-1990s, and prior to that period, one must go all the way back to the 1970s to find stronger numbers.
